Thanks so much! Sorry for the late response, but yes, I agree that Arthur can often make bad decision because he does not listen to what his heart tells him to do. He gets caught up in other people's (usually bad) advice and does not remember to think for himself. Merlin and Gwen often remind him of this fact which is why I felt the need to write this scene with Gwen, not liking what he did, but knowing the true man that he is.
