I've never been so broken.
Who knew it could hurt THIS much.

I've had heartache before.
That emptiness. That pain.
But nothing compared to this.

I can't even begin to describe this.
My body feels dead.
There is no life left in it.
Just lay. Just cry.
I never imagined this pain.

Maybe tonight I can start to pull my pieces back together.

Not to say "I know what you mean" the way people do when they don't know what else to say, but I know what you mean, only because I just recently got my heart broken.

It's funny isn't it? How totally unprepared you are for it. I mean you think that because you've experienced pain in your life that you'll be able to deal with it fine, because well, pain is pain. And then it comes and it's like an invisible 100 mile an hour wind that just cripples you and throws you to the floor. And when you cry you don't just cry, you sob, you weep, like a scene out of some movie.

So I know what you mean. That's it. No, "it'll get better, or "you'll find love again". Just...I know what you mean.

I think the "I know what you mean." is the most comforting thing to hear.
The other stuff is to hard to grasp right now because I don't want to love someone else and it may get better but how long does that take?
