Irony of the year: I got an 800 on the critical reading section of the SAT, but I didn't even get the job as library assistant.

Similarly, I'm sure my A in differential calculus will insure that I do not get the job as toll booth attendent.

why would that be relevant to a job like that?
it probably has a lot more to do with people skills or organization.

WEll it's not like I put my SAT scores on my job application. But I got my scores back the same day I was told that someone else was hired who "has the ecperience we were looking for." I don't think they could read into my application enough to infer that I have shitty people skills and organization, which I don't, but whatever.

haha. i wasn't saying you do have shitty people and organizational skills. i'm just saying i doubt that job requires you to be very smart, so why would impressive scores factor into it either way. maybe the kid they hired was a family friend or something.
