Congratulations!!! Your job IS spectacular, think about the possibilities! If you manage to get ANY design work sneaked in that company, you might end up on the lowest rung of their design department and from there you can then proceed! M&S is a good choice, they have design NEEDS! :D

Hmmm, well not really. It'd just be a matter of setting up displays I imagine, I don't even know if I'd get any creative input.

But I'm glad of the job and that's all I'm really bothered about right now. Plus it ends on 22nd December (unless they decide to keep me on), which would be perfect for if I want to go to Finland for Christmas. Finish on the 22nd, fly on the 23rd!

But see, even if it's just setting up displays, you MIGHT be able to have SOME input in something, and that's more than if you were stocking up the shelves or working at the registry, right? The next step is then window display department, and from there, maybe, to the ad department? Keep your foot firmly lodged in that company!!! Big company = many possibilities! And you can keep on your freelance work on the side to create your own company a name. Job opportunities are more important for you now than traveling, believe me!
