humm... i have not much to say, other than i was already infavor of Hume after reading William Paley's statment. i maybe would have replied that relating life to a mechanical object would be unjustifiable, and that life was so much more complex with emotion and chemical imbalances, then pausing to think, maybe that our emotional reactions and inbalances were in fact mechanical on a much more phylosophical level, but mechanical none the less, but i would hold and retain my coment for the sake of the conversation, and contine that it couldn't be compair to. and basically siding with Hume that the univers would be more like an animal, but would receed from the argument becasue no way would i put together a stance that hume so eliquantly put. with spelling errors and all. -vanny
and God created man in his own image... we should be realist! Men created gods in their own images, so many gods... Whatever you believe it would be contradictory to try to prove it. I mean if we could be sure that a God exists you couldnt speak anymore of a croyance but of a science, a knowledge, and this god wouldnt be a god anymore
