This is a product of hundreds and yes, I mean hundreds (I've counted) of pictures taken over the course of years (and yes I mean years) of this same scene. I'm lucky to live near there and I try to stop by when I see the makings of a good sunset (patchy clouds somewhere in the vicinity of the horizon, plus time of year matters too because this is looking down a narrow corridor through dense woods and the sun doesn't always set in this corridor).
