I'm planning on calling them on Monday and seeing what I can without actually having to show up to court. The bad thing about not paying it is now a lot of states have opted into sharing outstanding ticket information, so somewhere down the line I might get my license suspended even if I never go to NJ again. So not worth it for a $45 fine.

Cars are lame ;). Sounds like Hoboken is too though. But after dealing with all of that crap you should just stay - it would be awful to say that all you did on your trip was fight about parking.
