I'm sad as it really was sudden and mismanaged somewhere. If someone refuses care, they have to be listened to in many cases...but not with a head injury, in my opinion. The slightest accident can be much, much worse than it first appears, especially where the head is concerned.

My dad's not been the same since his accident some time ago (cab ran a red light and hit him as he biked to work). He was in the hospital for a week before they discovered the bleeding on his brain...they only were treating the broken arm and legs...

Head wounds are so tricky. It really has only been recently that people have started to realize that a small bump to the head can and up and over time all those bump can cause injury too.

wow, I didn't know she had died. It is so sad. In a strange way it reminds me of Jim Henson. Something seemingly innocuous turned into something catastrophic.
