well every one i have a serious post to make lattly iv been considering joining the armed forces and i dunno it just feels like the best thing to do ne more lost alot in the last few months and well maybe this is something that would put my life on some sort of track i dunno i want to join but than im afraid i almost joind b4 i just got scared and

i dont really even know you.( i only know you through claire)..so you're probably not going to listen to this BUT..my boyfriend roberto just joined the marines and every letter he writes to me he tells me how much he regrets it and how much he hates it. he went in because he wanted to do something with his life. he didnt believe he would have done good enough in college and didnt think he had good enough grades. now he's stuck for 4 years which isn't bad but in less than 7 months he's either going to be in iraq or in afganistan and the least he's going to be there is for a yeear and a 1/2. he's extremely nervous. although who wouldn't be ? he encourages ANYBODY no matter who they are and no matter whats going on their life to SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT IT. because he knows he made a mistake but theres nothing he can do about it now for FOUR years.
