Yes, Fanart again. Isn't that great?

Hello Dodo!
Meeting those americans from my future college really did me a world of good. I'm not sure I left a good impression, since we only spoke French -Shame on me- but they were so nice! From the description they gave me, I want to be there already!

Here are the pics I told you about. I think they look unfinished, but it was a 'spur of the ( Read more... )

You have a beautful way of drawing Hermione, such lovely colours. And I think you could use it for the "fraternising with the enemy" contest, simply after book six I'm sure JK wants us to think he's with the enemy. Though I know many (including me) who have their doubts about that.

I finaly tagged it for the Enemy Challenge, on your suggestion. (Oh well, that will only be my third submission!) ;)
But I agree with you, Snape isn't the baddie that JkR made him seem at the end of HBP. I hope, anyway.

Thank you for your comment!

Ooooh, je l'adore! I have a huge love of texture (I'm a tactile learner, I can't help it!) and both of these just seem like they're physically tangible- I love that so much. Hermione is beautiful, and the Snarry is very sweet, and not a little sad. I don't know... is he the enemy? I don't think that Snape is good, but I don't think he's bad either... the world isn't that black & white, you know? I think that Snape just looks out for #1, if you know what I mean. :)

I'm glad to hear that meeting the Americans from the school you'll be at went well! Whereabouts in America will you be? I certainly hope not Ohio- living in Ohio sucks! :)

I certainly know what you mean. I don't think he is the enemy, and certainly not THE enemy. He's been my favorite character because of his ambiguity, so I'd be really saddened if he appeared as an all-'black' character in the last book.
I still tagged it for the Enemy Challenge, finally. People suggested it and I thought: Oh well why not?

No Ohio for me! (And that's a good thing, because your review would probably have made me fall from the high mood I'm in.) ;)
I'm going to Missouri. Middle West here I come!
(yet I don't know if it is any better than Ohio. What sucks so much in Ohio?)

I'd be sad, too, if he was "all-black" in Book 7. The books are written from Harry's PoV, and I think that after Dumbledore's death, and the scene with Draco (lowering the wand, etc), he'll realize that it's not all black and white, there are shades of grey in there too. I think (hope!) that we'll get to see what really happened between Snape and Dumbledore, and what their relationship was really like.

Haha, I would have been sad if I made you lose your happy mood! I just don't like living in Ohio because it's so incredibly boring, and soooo right wing in certain parts. I can't stand it! I voted for Kerry, and Kerry won in my voting district, but other parts of Ohio are much more conservative and the state went to Bush (our voting system is so messed up, I really hate it!). But yeah, Ohio is just really boring, and sometimes it seems like I'll never have the opportunity to escape! I want to move out of state (or out of the country!) soooo bad ( ... )

I wish the same thing for the last book: more Snape! I just don't realize that the last book means just that: the last book. No other. End of story. No new plotlines.
...
*bursts into tears*

I'll be sure to talk about Missouri. Especially since this Lj will be one of my last links with my friends, Dodo included. (That is such a frightening thought!!)

I love the Hermione one. The look on her face is exactly the zoning-out look people get.

Thank you! I'm glad it came across well.
I've got a test system in case it doesn't: I show my sketch to my sister until she gets what I want to convey ('Nope, constipated again'). It's rather humbling most of the time (Why can't I get it riiiight!!') but really effective. However, I did this one on the first try. I'm so proud! XD

Merciii!

Both of these are brilliant - I love the styling on Hermione's hair :). And as for Harry/Snape I think that would be a wonderful entry to the "Fraternizing with the enemy challenge". Whether or not Snape's really a villain is unimportant - he's still been Harry's opponent in lots of other ways :).

Thank you!!
I finally submitted it to the Enemy Challenge; you are right, Snape and Harry aren't friends by any stretch of the imagination...
