I need to ask you about him saying that you attacked him once. I had a feeling he was exaggerating in that case, but it can wait until you're up for it.

In early August, Rinzler asked me to be present at a meeting between himself and CLU. CLU was...adamant that he was entitled to have Rinzler's disc. I...you have CLU's file. I don't need to tell you how significant their ID discs are.
[She pauses and clears her throat.]
Initially, we both refused, but eventually Rinzler allowed him to have a long enough look to check the changes to his programming. CLU refused to return it afterwards, to either of us, three times.
I stunned him to prevent a fight between him and Rinzler. We took him back to his cabin when it was over.
