I got my tattoo. Everyone just told me before I went that it would hurt a lot, and it did but I think it helped that everyone talked it up so much. It wasn't that bad

That is badass Amy. Fucking badass. I wish I had the little strip of all the answers to all the questions in the world still, because I would have given it to you for tattoo strength.
I wouldnt be offended at all. I feel like it has done a lot for me, and if it could do the same for someone else then I wouldnt want to hold you back. And hey, it does look cool too!
Personally I think it's a bad idea. What happens when the epilepsy stops? You never know, it could do one day. That's just one in a load of comments, obviously it's up to you what you do with your body...
Well, I have mesial temporal sclerosis so its not likely that my epilepsy will be stopping anytime soon. I could have surgery to take out the damaged part of my brain but its to risky in my case. Besides even if by the grace of God my seizures did stop, I wouldnt mind having the tattoo around to symbolize everything I have been through. And as I mentioned before to educate people on the disorder, as I said before I dont make it through the day with at least one person asking me about the tattoo and many times people might not know anything about epilepsy and in some cases they dont even know what it is. If I am doing my small part to bring even a few people to awarness even after I have stopped batteling seizures then I would I still care enough to be doing that for everyone else out there that isnt so lucky. The tattoo means a lot more to me than protecting myself, although that is its main purpose.
