i think everyone just needs to flippin quit being so flippant with everyone about what it should be called- call it what you will. to each his own. what our country was founded upon. let me tell you- we got some selfish americans round here- want to jump down people's back for enjoying their religious holiday because it ruins the whatever for em, but when it comes time to bust out with the bill of rights, freedom of speech crap- they're all over it! so just flippin simmer down people about this ridiculous topic. its dumb.
after all- its a religious holiday, and you want your boss to pay you extra for it....
which reminds me- how come we get holiday pay on the birthday of christ, but not his death, easter- politics man.
As a wise man, Erwin McManus says, "We should stop blaming people who are living in the dark for doing dark things. Instead of sitting around complaining about their darkness, we need to be instead trying to bring them the Light..."
Amen to all of the above. I don't celebrate Kwanzaa... I'd be ticked if all... Kwanzaa-observers (no idea what faith that is) expected me to wish the world a happy flippin' Kwanzaa. No offense to the Kwanzaans, but I just don't care. Just like I don't expect anyone who isn't in an active relationship with Christ to acknowledge Christmas. Those who prey upon citizens for the commercial and political aspects of this holiday season have raped God of his story. Happy Ramadanakkwansmas to all! And happy holidays too... and may the Maker of the Moon be glorified all the days of the year.
