More news about Hope in Lightning Returns

Square Enix announced some more information about Hope. Apparently he's going to revert back to his Hope-kun size. I am not entirely good in Japanese but I think in the article it said something like he was chosen by god to be Lightning's comrade/partner. Lightning would return to Hope or rather the ship where Hope is on, every morning (game time) ( Read more... )

WHYYYYYYYY??????? Why is Hope back to his 14????? (though he kinda looks a bit older in the render, I'd say he's 15 or 16 years old)
And I was hoping for a reunion between Lightning and older Hope.....
I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!
Of course, he's sooo cute like that, but.... the chances of LightxHope becoming canon are now very low T_T

I'm with you on this one. I'd prefer the grown up Hope. But I saw a comment somewhere saying that he seems to be acting more calm than when he was 14, so let's hope he will er...transform somehow back into grown-up Hope? (Since SE can throw anything at us these days..)

Yes, I really hope that this is not his normal form, and that he'll retransform into grown up Hope!!!
Maybe it'll be kinda like in the anime Detective Conan, you know, Shinichi's body has shrunk and he took the apperance of his 6 years old self, but he still has the personnality and memories of his teenage self! So , as I can hardly imagine the young Hope from FF13 giving orders to Lightning, I think he has his FF13 apperance, but his FF13-2 personnality^^

Everyone, everyone. The point is not the age. The point is that GOD CHOSE THEM TO BE PARTNERS. Even God approves. That is some major kudos in their favor, considering not everyone gets a thumbs-up for getting together.

Could be that because in Lightning's mind, Hope is forever 14. That's why he's like this. Also the article mentioned in a world where she has to cross swords with once-comrades such as Snow and Noel, Hope is the only place to relax and heal....aaaaaaaawwwwww...

That's possible. And then when Lightning finally sees him as a man then he'll turn back...etc. (Sorry I'm now just merely imagining a possible Hoperai fanfic lol..)
