Relationship between Hope and Lightning will "develop" in Lightning Returns?

Hey guys, I came across this video. Whilst I do not want to get my own hopes up, after watching 5:05~ in the video, I am assuming that there should be SOME kind of development in the game between Hope and Lightning. I mean look at those girls in the video, they sound and look just like us (the fangirls who are shipping them lol)

I hope so because right now the story makes no sense. How can Hope show he's grown up when he looks like a kid and he's completely restricted to the Ark? The world may end in 13 days, however; unless once you store up the energy enough for those 13 days with time to spare. Thus allowing Hope to leave the Ark, how does he prove anything?

True, good observations. I just hope that SE would really have a proper ending and proper explanation for everything this time round. Well at least a proper ending for H&l at least...

As do I. While I enjoy the pairing I do want Hope at a legal age. You know I wonder why Noel hasn't visited Hope. Hell I wonder why Hope has been left alone in the Ark. I wonder if Noel takes it to his head that Hope is helping Light and tries to target Hope. Goes with the idea of taking out mission control would help take out the target. Hmmm Kidnaps Hope and force Lights' hand...

LOL The commentator is like "I hope sorta maybe IDK" it sounds so iffy but won't turn down our spirits! Still crossing fingers and hoping for the best!

Yeah I am just hoping it is the Japanese (reserved) way of saying YEAH THERE"S DEFINITELY GOT TO HAVE STH ABOUT HXL IN IT. Because to be honest, the fact that they purposely included that bit with two fangirls in there seems encouraging..(I hope) unless SE is being a twat and put that in to fool us...

When I watched this video, and I heard what the woman says, I immediately ran here to see if someone had the same feelings as me, and guess I was right!!
The way she says it "I'm really looking forward to the interaction between these two" is sooo teasing that you could immediately tell she 's a huge Lightning x Hope fan! I don't want to get my hopes up either, but after seeing this video, I really feel like Square Enix is not going to disappoint us :D
