Chocolat makes me angry. Lovely movie. Pisses me off.

I just found out that we don't even take off until 7:-- which means I'll be driving through Florida at 11:-- their time...yeah. Oh well. I get back around 11:30 next Sunday, in the am...so technically I'm gone for less than a week...

Bahh.

Why does Chocolat piss you off?

Because the movie never shows Caroline reconciling with any of the characters...She's so cold throughout the whole movie...so naive...

Everything is implied, but that one character...I wanted to see how she ended up coming to accept everything and get over herself.

That, and I hate how easily everyone was manipulated. I hate how ignorant the Comte was...I hate how easily the Father was controlled. I liked the movie, but I was angry at most of them for being so closed-minded.

Then I was angry with Vianne for giving up...for wanting to leave again. I realize that it was in her nature...but I hate that she let the Comte drive her to it.

But, I still enjoyed it.
