I'm never good at forging friendships, neither am I good at keeping them. This explains why there's always a certain distance between me and my friends. Or rather, I don't feel that I'll have a best friend whom I can keep forever. Sure, I may have one right now, but in the end, it's still "right now". I'd like to say that "best friends" that we used to have all turn to strangers when we gradually cease interacting with them. Especially today, when my best friend in primary school suddenly messaged me, and we talked about stuffs and she's changed a lot. And one factor is that she's busy studying in a different secondary school and as O level students, we don't have much time to interact anymore, even though we live just like, one bus stop away ( ... )

Yeah... the relationship we have with them is conditional after all. And the condition this time is the distance apart. I feel like I'm talking to a stranger when I catch up with my old friends after not contacting each other for so long, and the change is really... stark. My situation is the same as yours... except that my old friends share the same bus stop as me ( ... )
