It makes me sad. So many of my real life friends are people I met through tribe. It's the end of an era, for me.

instead of declaring it dead, can we all get a dollar for every thing that tribe was down, that we couldn't post, that we couldn't log it, that it ate our friends...or whatever?

Then we could use that dollar to fly to San Francisco and kick that guy's ass who's running it?

PSS -- I agree, it was by far a better site than almost any i've used. I love tribe....tribe is awesome. but there are some serious management problems there that have nothing to do with software/interface difficulties. I"m not sure where their business model fucked up, but it's fucked up.
