I used to listen to that record obsessively! Music Box was my first Mariah album so when Fantasy came out (was that the name of that album?) I went and immediately got it. I remember standing on the bed in the guest bedroom screaming that song at the top of my lungs. Sry for the randomness of this comment but it totally brought back memories.
When I saw this question, I had to answer it! That song I think of as the first song of the beginning of my typical teenage interest in pop music (though not a teenager yet, of course). My friend was lucky enough to have the tape, and I definitely listened to it whenever I could. All the girls in my class loved that song - and when I heard it I used to think of my crushes at the time, lol. Ah, to be in 6th grade.
