Oh my! This is an amazing collection. I hadn't seen the actual video from their most recent on-stage cuddle. I didn't know it went on for so long. Robert looks so melancholy afterwards-*sniff*-sweet boys.

I can't think of anything you missed as far as pics and videos but there is Simon's declaration of love in the Trilogy interview. I'll find it and post it here.

Yes, the video is very emotional. I have no idea what was going through Robert's head, or what Simon was saying to comfort him...but inquiring minds would like to know.

That Trilogy interview bit sounds amazing, and I would LOVE to see it!

For your purposes, I was specifically referring to the part where Simon says every morning he wakes up, puts his hand on his heart and Robert is there-the most important person in the world to him. His adoration is so blatant that the journalist even mentions it.

The Trilogy interview: one of my faves. Seems as if it doesn't take much for Simon to get drunk! A cheap date. Then again he only weighs about 90lbs. so... He is an absolute goldmine when it comes to blabbing their secrets when drunk. Id loooooove to sit with him over a bottle of wine (or two!) and ask questions. Hee-hee. Maybe he would spill the beans about their (as Robert described) "Roman Empire days."

Wow! What a great collection! I had never seen the first one of those under the cut, and the fourth is one of my favourites: the intensity of Robert's eyes on Simon would melt steel. Watching the video in Milan I must agree with dream, Robert appears so melancholy and sad that looking at him breaks my heart.
If all this is not evidence of something deep between them... ♥

Yes, the moment in Milan was so much to deal with; I would love to know what caused it and what (if anything) followed it up post-show....

I would like to know it too. Despite how he often appears, I think Robert is a very emotional man, maybe even fragile sometimes, now that he's getting older, and that seemed a moment of real, deep sadness. I do hope Simon gave him some comfort and made him feel better, and not necessarily how we tend to imagine here, but like the close long-time friend he is, who knows him and has shared a great part of his life with him..
