7 classes would really freak me out ... but, if you think you could handle it, good for you. or stay in them and if need be, you can always drop one. i think you would feel busy even with 5. is there a reason to rush?
you know yourself, you'll know what to do. GRF is taking 6 and i think she's insane, but time management is key.
Well, I took six last term and it didn't feel like too many... but I'm realizing that maybe that was partially because two of them were pass/fail. This term, all seven that I'm in are marked courses. I need to just really sit down with the degree requirements and map out what I think I'll have left and how I'll do it. The way things are now feels like it would be doable, but I don't know if it makes sense financially! Like, if I'm going to have to pay to take three or four extra courses later on that don't count towards the degree just so I can stay in Canada on my student visa, that doesn't really make sense.
Hmm - another thought came to me - you just need 3.5 courses to be full time, so what if you worked on your thesis (2 credits) over the next 2 years? Like a half credit for each of 4 semesters? Just an idea that came to me... And would give you just 14 classes over the next 2 years rather than 16 if you did 4 per semester? Just a thought that came to me...
