I've added you as a friend, but you don't have to friend me back because I know a lot of the time circles get too small (especially when they only have 3 or 4 people in them) and usually I wouldn't friend someone I only met once, but thisdancewedo did that to me and now we're great friends so let me finish this ramble here.

Ok, we have met in person twice -- once at Canada's Wonderland, and once again on Friday evening at the SCM retreat. I found you here on LJ via thisdancewedo.

If you feel comfortable friending me, that would be cool. If not, that's ok too. But I'm hoping to expand the Oregon contingent of my friends' list (which currently stands at one).

I hope that you had a good time at the retreat on the weekend.

Bruce, of course I'd love to friend you back! I had a great time on the retreat, and I especially enjoyed your piano accompaniment to the singalong on Friday. I would be more than happy to add to your Oregon contingent, although I have to warn you that I have a tendency to be excessively wordy and introspective to a degree that can be overwhelming! So proceed with caution...

I have just started writing a series of memory posts which fit this description perfectly, so you certainly aren't the only one. :)
