Things are looking up. Some wise advice from friends and some support where I needed it, and a visit with Tedd's doctor's mentor doctor and the ball is rolling back to the positive. What I thought was perfectly nuts - bathing in a bath with bleach added - is something that is done, and it seems to be helping more than any of the antibiotics,

Adding a little bit, or more than a little bit, of bleach to the bath water is something that folks from certain parts of the country do regularly. One of the stray children we took in, the one from Missouri, his family adds bleach to their bath every night, an old thing most folk there do to discourage ticks and other bitey bugs.
Here, a couple of years back, I was told by a doctor to add bleach to both my son's bath water, and his body wash because he kept getting boils.
Actually did that the second time he had an outbreak and they cleared up in a couple of days.
