Growing up sucks. In less than two weeks, I will be a college graduate. Unlike a lot of the people who will be graduating with me, I will be regressing instead of progressing. I will be moving back home to live with my dad and brothers for a little while. I won't have my own car (I'm relying on my uncle to be compassionate enough to lend me his car ( Read more... )

Having your entire day pre-planned for you is exhausting. You lose your love for life easily. Trust me.

I'd love to live as a hobo, but to get anywhere at all, you need money. I have no money.

You have taken a giant step though by actually getting your degree. That can come in handy down the line.

I know how you're feeling right now. Trust me. I so do. -__-

I don't necessarily mean having it planned for me, I just always know what's going to happen. Get up at 6, breakfast, brush teeth, put on clothes, go to school, come home, do homework, eat, watch tv, take shower, go to bed. I hate that but it was nice knowing what was going to happen. Gosh. And here I thought I hated routine.

EVERYTHING takes money. I hate that so much. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.

I am glad that I got a degree in something, though. I'm the first on my dad's side of the family to do so. Here's hope it gets me where I wanna go.

Thanks for your support. It's nice knowing someone cares. :)

way more people than you think will find themselves in the same situation after graduation. most of the people i knew in college didn't have some great job in their chosen profession lined up as soon as they got their degree. it took months of searching (I'm still searching and it has been 7 months since I graduated) and many chose to move back home with family. so there is no shame in that. believe me, it will be a lot easier to save money for when you do find that great job and want to relocate when you don't have the expense of rent, utilities, etc. i know you said you still have credit card payments and such but believe me that rent is super expensive most places and especially if you don't have a roommate to split the bills with ( ... )

anytime. it's hard, i'm living it right now! but you just have to keep believing that God has an amazing plan for you. it's hard to keep that focus too, but if you can keep it in mind, it really helps with those feel-like-a-total-loser moments.

I really need to start spending more time with God. I think that would help me feel much better. Like my mom said, God's not going to give me the things I need until he's ready for me to use them. I have to be willing and listening. It's tough though. I feel like such a huge disappointment to everyone. My younger brother Adam is off at Auburn, already doing the living on his own thing and working and I can't seem to get on my feet at all.
