a black hole the size of an atomic nucleus would weigh about a billion tons!! space near the center of a black hole can be so warped that the area around it could be millions of kilometers in radius but only a fraction of a centimeter in circumference!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS SHIT??!

AH I WISH I WAS IN THAT CLASS! I was debating whether to take Astronomy someday or not. I guess I'll look this prof up if I register for it!

Do you have The Science Channel, History Channel, History Channel International, National Geographic Channel? I love them all to bits. The Science channel had a Stephen Hawking marathon (no pun intended) the other day.

*is loony* Have you ever gazed up in the sky and actually felt one with the Universe? Like you know that at this moment, in that vast area of space, there's that 'rock' up there as our satellite, etc.

I have credits up to Math 131 (Calculus), but that's from college of more than 6 years ago. I'm surprised it transferred to OSU, but I'm just glad I won't have to take any more Maths or I'll probs decrease my chances of getting into Nursing school..

Have you seen the planet/sun scale video on YouTube? It's surreal.

yes i know exactly the feeling you're talking about. and i highly recommend this class/dr. weinberg. he's one of the best astronomers in the world today but has no problem communicating his ideas.

i hope jens was amazing! and i'm sad i couldn't go :(
