Since Roo and Ban got me motivated....

Think of 15 of your favorite movies, go to IMDB and find quotes for each. Post the quotes. When someone guesses the movie, add the movie name and the person who got it right. (No fair using IMDB to find the answer.)

There's still a few left, take a crack at them!

1.          C1 My mother always told me that violence doesn't solve anything.

2 is The Punisher (the newer one). You're supposed to blank out the names man ;-)

3 is this Dogma? Sounds like Dogma--good ol' Wisconsin

6--Beauty and the Beast. A real man loves Disney

7 is Lord of the Rings: Return of the King--a conversation (I'm a major fan of the conversation that takes place a few minutes later between the two) between Gandalf and Perrin

Some of the others sound darn familiar...but I'll let other people answer them. Can you tell I'm bored and don't feel like being productive tonight?

You are correct of course, on all four. I looked at yours and was pretty stumped...though I cheated when it was driving me nuts, I kicked myself for forgetting some of them. I think you've seen a few of the others for sure, the question is....can anyone name them? ;)

I know that 6 is from Beauty and the Beast and 15 is from the Mask of Zorro...but I wouldn't know any of the others without cheating.

You are correct madam, but Andy beat you to Beauty and the Beast... Some of the others you have probably seen, but I picked some of the lesser known quotes to make it a challenge :)

1. A little Starship Trooper action. God, what a classic sci-fi fiasco. I don't even remember any of the actors except Doogie Howser anymore.
4. Spaceballs! John Candy is the man. Would you believe me if the last line of that quote is part of my morning ritual? It's not, but it'd be funny if it were.
8. Who ya gonna call?!!? GHOSTBUSTERS!
10. South Park ftw.
11. KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN! The first of many times the shields will have trouble coming up in a Star Trek movie. They should have made a Viagra for starships, so they can get their shields up when necessary. :) Star Trek: Wrath of Khan.
13. God... I don't know this one, but I know I've seen it. All I can picture is the lesson al'Lan Mandragoran teaches Rand al'Thor during Blademaster training about knowing when to sheathe your sword - but since they haven't made a movie out of that, I have no idea.

Yours are hard. A lot of them must be older movies. Or weird indie flicks even I haven't seen :) Good list though!

I do have some pretty ugly ones, but I'll admit yours were no easier for me :) I did my best to try and put a good mix of movie genres on there.

I figured no one would get number 13, even though we've all probably seen it...well, at least everyone who has posted so far (minus Maria....there's a hint :) )

Is 5 from Training Day? Good movie...

And 13 sounds all fantasy like. But, I can't think of a fantasy movie where they say it quite like that. Sounds, what's the word? ?Corny? enough to be some D&D thing, but I don't remember it from the Dungeons and Dragons movie. They didn't make a second one, did they?

I have a pretty nice blend of movies, but 5 is not from Training Day. 13 is pretty brutal, but I'm pretty sure most of us have seen it, it's just not a movie that's commonly thought of.

5 is Tango and Cash! I asked a friend in a class and he picked it out. It's been a loooong time since I've seen that movie. Good stuff!

I got #8, #9, and #11, but B scooped me on #8 and #11. #9 is War Games. And #12 sounds really familiar, but I can't get it.

Todd! YES! Someone finally got War Games :) One of the first movies I actually remember watching, and a personal favorite. The hint for 12 is that it's an Eastwood flick,
