I'm posting from Hannah and Troy's apt. It's quite nice and the kitties are wonderful. We all will go out to dinner tonight and possibly do some coast/beach or something. It's so good to see them. We will probably do Nova Scotia tomorrow.

Today was Anne of Green Gables day. We went to Green Gables, took pictures, and had fun. Inside the house was really fun: they have a small room all fixed up for Anne, just as described in the book. Great day ( Read more... )

As of 11:30 Atlantic time, we arrived in PEI and touched foot to the sacred soil. I talked to Hannah and Troy and we will see them tomorrow. We are in Moncton, New Brunswick, tonight, preparing for the trip over the 5 mile bridge to PEI tomorrow. Hannah made us reservations at a Good Sam campground and it looks quite nice. It even has free showers, something of a rarity in Canada. Victor is showering now, paying 25 cents Canadian for each 5 mins. And he is pissed. I sort of agree ( Read more... )

We spent the day shopping in Freeport Me. and eating lobster. Yum! Today I felt halfway good and had some fun. We found a wonderful used bookstore here and spent $50. Easy to do ( Read more... )

Yesterday I went in a quiltshop somewhere in Vermont and had another nosebleen--a lulu. We drove to a hospital where they took me in and packed my nose with a nasal tampon that is 6.5 inches long. Imagine that going up your nose. I think it went into my brain. It hurt. I also threw up what they told me was a quart of blood. Sigh. Anyway, we ( Read more... )

We are back in America--in the NE corner of New York State, near Vermont and Quebec. The gas is much cheaper here, the parks are cheaper here, and since the awning of the trailer was stolen in Ontario, we decided to proceed East in usa and then go to Nova Scotia and PEI.
