SO EXCITED for your RA job !!!!!! OMG free rent and food and everything!!!!!! don't stress about the responsibilities, i wish i could have been an RA. my RAs planned fun little community events like movie nights / chinese tea parties / swap meets / picnics, and they had to tell us the housing rules when we moved in (DON'T DO DRUGS! LOL "don't get caught") and basically just be around to help if people are having roommate/living issues. oh they also had to walk around the halls at night sometimes and get kids busted for drinking or being too loud. lol. it's mostly good stuff though, i'm sure it's similar at UCD (didn't you have an RA, i thought you lived in a dorm?) but yeah dude! the RAINBOW FLOOR sounds like so much fun

No, right now I'm living in an apartment about three miles away from the main campus. It's a lot like the dorm because most people here are college students, only it's unlike the dorms cuz there are no RAs XD
Yeah, as far as I can tell, the UCD RAs do the similar jobs...but I mean the job could have potentially changed. I'm just upset they still have no formal job description for me haha.

Haha, yes, lava monster is the one where you have to stay on the playground and can't touch the tanbark or whatever. OMG yeah, tetherball got so intense. I was too intimidated to play it until I was a 5th grader lol. I was a loner in elementary school too, for a time, but we'll totally rekindle your past leprechaun phase at burning man and make the dumb parts of our playground-years a little more worth it :P
