I got off work early yesterday, and the girls had been good, so I thought we could go see a movie. some theaters tend to be jerks. i had a surprisingly good experience at an amc once...

angela and i bought tickets in advance online because we knew it was going to sell out. but then we made the mistake of showing up exactly on time to see the movie...

right as we were to open the door to the theatre and realize our mistake, the manager opened the door and said 'you dont want to go in there... its nearly impossible to find two good seats together unless you want to sit in the front row. so why don't you go catch the first half of some other movie while you wait for another screening to start? or if you want you can see two movies tonight if you want.'

we were blown away. a manager encouraged us to theater hop.

3d movies at imax are always a blast. angela gets a microsoft discount so we are able to both get in for less than ten dollars total. i don't remember what the cost is without the discount but i think it might be equivalent to seeing a live concert... lame.

did you see where the wild things are?

I did not see Where The Wild Things Are. We'll most likely rent it though. That's cool that the manager was receptive to the fact that you should be sitting next to your date when on a date. That's the way to really make return customers.
