i've got a passport.  when we moved, i gave the writer my passport so he could keep our passports together in case we needed to exit the country quickly ( Read more... )

We just keep our stuff in a filing cabinet. We should probably get a fireproof safe for the real important stuff. The cabinet makes everything really easy to find, though.

We have ours in a safe. Marriage license, divorce paperwork (proof of my name change, if needed), passports, social security cards.

And then all of Dave's guns (and a couple of mine now, thanks to him!).

i keep my stuff in a WWII footlocker. fireproof would probably be better though. there's no way i would let marc take care of that stuff for me.

Right now, I just have a "Super-Important Stuff" file, but we need to get a safety deposit box. They're like $30 every six months for the little ones.
