A chef for a friend? Sounds like a win-win situation to me. But she does that for a living, does she get bothered that people are like "yo..fry me up a porkchop." I'd tell people to cook their own damned food.
I really wish I could come out there and visit. Unfortunately, fourth quarter (November, December, January) are coming up, and vacations are not obtainable. When late January, early February rolls around, I will see if I can take a weekend off and at least get to stay for a day or two. I would love to see the city.
It seems that a lot of people move out of the Midwest cause they hate it, then several years later, for one reason or another, they are enticed into moving back and realize it ain't so bad. Could this be the future Eric and Ryan story? I hope. If not oh well, I'll travel to visit you guys. :P
