This post made me so sad, especially about the poor pets. I have a dog myself and he's not really a pet, he's like a child and I can't imagine losing him. I understand at least some of your pain. A good friend oh mine passed away recently. I haven't even been able to muss up enough strength to bring it up on lj. I honestly hope your friends and neighbors are able to be safe and in comfort. I know it will be hard and it may not be tomorrow, or the day after, but soon. You have my prayers. I hope you are okay, as well♥

I feel guilty looking forward to all those class suspensions! My English groupmates and I got stranded yesterday, and I had to sleep in somebody else's house because of the flood over at our place. I hope our country gets back to its feet.
