[The recording begins with a rather sideways view of a table. On that table is a partially-eaten piece of cake and a photograph. It looks somewhat like this:
[Because Raikov likes ritsy stuff, he bought her these bracelets. Since she didn't say anything about knowing it was recording, Raikov doesn't mention it either.]
You're quite welcome. Anyone who didn't want to celebrate your birthday with you must be insane.
[Ooh, pretty. If this were a video feed--like, the on-purpose kind that might, say, show Penny's wrists--then Raikov would see that she's wearing them.]
Now that you've opened your presents, though, there's something I've been meaning to ask, if you don't mind. How is it that some bags and clothes and things can be vegetarian and other things aren't? I'd think they all would be, since none of them can eat meat--or anything else, for that matter.
Oh! That just means they're not made with anything that came from an animal, like leather. So a vegetarian bag, say, would be made out cloth or something instead of leather. And then there're green vegetarian things to buy, which're made without animals using sustainable resources and biodegradable products.
On the topic of animals... do you think there's anywhere in the City that'd be safe for the sheep? I don't think they like staying at the Center too much. Some parts of the gardens're nice, and I've heard that there's a farm around here somewhere, but I've never seen it.
[Paaause. Penny doesn't check over her network posts once they're up, usually, and no one has pointed out the first part, so she's not entirely sure what brought that about. Still, it's a nice sentiment!]
Thanks, Keats... and thanks for coming. I know you're not big on the ducks and the big-party-outside thing, so it meant a lot that you came.

Or busy or afraid of ducks or not a fan of cake?

They'd definitely be insane for the latter.

Can't wait to see what Doris thinks of that other duck either.

Or what Tiger thinks of it!

[This may not all be true, but it's quiet and fond.]

So Doris' brothers and sisters might remember me?
