Ray? Could you maybe try to be a little more understanding? Whatever's happening, curse or not, it's not Chris' fault. Beating him up about it won't help. ...Figurative beating, I mean. Not that literal beating would work either.
Good beating's jus' what he needs, I reckon. Ain't my fault 'e decided to go an' tell the entire network 'e's a bum boy, is it? If 'e reckons 'e's gettin' anythin' of mine up 'is arse but my boot, 'e's got another thing comin'.
Oh, thank--whoever. I do like Chris and he's so much nicer than a lot of guys I've dated and there would be so much deja vu if he really was in love with Ray.
Just a curse. Okay.
Wait, what--I don't remember this happening last August.
And if it's not, I'll turn him into a frog and that will be that.
Not this in particular, but August has a way of coming up with curses that ruin relationships. Or strain them, at least, if the people involved aren't understanding. I once lost someone I cared for very much because I was cursed to think I was married and he...well. By the time we got it straightened out, it was too late.
I guess it's a step above everyone hating each other. And you don't need to smack Chris. He--
[Brain breakage goes here.]
Um.
It's not that I don't think Ray's a great guy, but that--no. It's a curse, right? And it'll end? And then we'll look back and laugh and pretend we're not a little traumatized.
Woah, well, I'm not cursed but it is my first witnessing of a curse. I think my late arrival kept me unaffected. Or, has kept me. I am so crossing my fingers right now.

And besides, you don't need to--you know, do anything. Just please, please try to take the hostility down a few notches?

I'll smack him for you when I see him though.
Or you could give in and have a threesome...if you could get Ray to agree.

Is this your first curse? I mean, assuming it's a curse, which it has to be.
