Ray? Could you maybe try to be a little more understanding? Whatever's happening, curse or not, it's not Chris' fault. Beating him up about it won't help. ...Figurative beating, I mean. Not that literal beating would work either.

Not this in particular, but August has a way of coming up with curses that ruin relationships. Or strain them, at least, if the people involved aren't understanding. I once lost someone I cared for very much because I was cursed to think I was married and he...well. By the time we got it straightened out, it was too late.
