So what's new?

Tohru left--I visited her picture today just to make sure.  I'm glad she and Kyou left together, even if I'll miss them.  Tohru's so, so sweet.  She definitely deserves to be happy at home.

No sign of Billy coming back to stay.  I got Babbage--that's Billy's guinea pig--a rabbit to keep him company, and that's going pretty well.  The ( Read more... )

tohru, blue, everything happens, billy

It does, a lot.

Great!

Have we met before? If we haven't, I'm Penny. ...I mean, if we have, I'm still Penny, but then you'd know that already.

I like busy.

How're you and your fish doing, Raikov?

Other than homesick, I'm fine.

Aww. Would anything make you less homesick? Besides being home?

That cell phone is adorable, and you'll let me come see the rabbit sometime, right? And Babbage? Would you mind? And thanks for the links, I hadn't had the one for the how-to for some reason.

I really like the CPS! I'll definitely be using it, see if I can fix it up for the underground (probably not, considering...but it's worth trying, right?)

I'm ready for March, personally.

Thank you, and definitely! Babbage and Cabbage're both really sweet... I think you'll like them. I could put Doris in the bathroom so you can visit Masha, too. She's a really sweet cat when she isn't being threatened by a duck.

Isn't it cool? Connor set up all of these sensor-things for it before he left. It could be really dangerous to do the same for the Underground, but I bet it'd come in handy.

Yeah? Me too. March and spring.

Aw, that sounds great! I sort of miss having a pet- maybe I'll think about getting one myself soon. And the poor cat. I'm sure that is a territorial thing.

Ah! Right, of course. I don't think I'd particularly want to run around down there for a sensor net, but I'll keep my eye open in case anyone I trust is heading down there anyway. It'd be nice to have a reliable map of the tunnels, even if the deities don't let it stick around.

Oh yes, very much so. What's all this cold weather still doing, making me wear heavy coats and all? I'd like some plants and some heat, please.

Definitely territorial. Doris thinks she owns the place just because she's been there the longest. And you should definitely get a pet! What kind did you have before?

It would be. I'm sure you can find someone who'd help out.

A little green would be nice. I just hope we actually get spring instead of... instant summer or something crazy. Seasons don't seem to happen quite right here all the time.

You're absolutely amazing, Penny. What did the Welcome Center do before you ended up here?

Reply

horrible_penny February 28 2010, 06:53:17 UTC
I don't know about that, but thank you, Rudy.

Actually? The Welcome Center wasn't here, so me not being here wasn't much of a problem.

Then I'm sure new arrivals were at a loss.

Nah, it wasn't bad. There's always someone out there who'll show newbies the ropes.

Miss Tohru left? I think we only spoke once or twice before not too long ago...

It's good that she's back home though.

Ah- some of that is a lot helpful actually.

Yeah, she did. I'm sorry--it's hard when people leave, even if we know they'll be better off at home.

I'm glad it is! It wouldn't be doing its job if it wasn't helpful.

Mm, yeah it is-- even though I've seen it happen a few times since I arrived with others I know.
