...How do you figure one's soul is tied to their inanimate objects? I'm genuinely curious about your hypothesis on this.

Well, you see, if someone buys, say, a really nice car, and then some vandal steals it from you, all that effort that you put into it, with its cool designs, and perfectly matched colors and top-notch horse-powered engine, will have gone. And with it, that effort becomes a melted puddle of disachievement, and your soul goes with it. Of course, he got what was coming to him, stealing my car like that.

That... is not only a convoluted statement, it's also incorrect. If someone steals your car, it's certainly a financial loss as well as a practical hindrance - additionally, such a theft may possibly weaken one's social standing among their peers depending on if the car is extravagant enough to be considered a status symbol, but... a soul is a purely metaphorical construct.

[ooc: Lol! He almost made her speechless: good job!]

[OoC: orz, thank you~! Admittedly that bit with the soul is probably the best and most IC thing I've done with him in a while, if not ever.]

A curse? Well, it might be possible, but what sort of curse makes people steal like this, eh, Keats?

[There is a long, long pause.]

I postulate that the city itself may be what took our things from our homes, Hammer.
