We watched Hunger Games on Saturday so enough time has passed that I don't feel unduly influenced by the kind of giddiness a decent movie-going experience can give me. I'm still really pleased with the film. I look forward to seeing it again, and really look forward to it coming to tv where I can watch it many times and get more and more out of it ( Read more... )

Grh, I had a comment that Frank the goat decided to eat. Stupid goat.
The short version: totally agree with all of the above; loved this movie! I'm already looking forward to seeing it on DVD.

I hate it when Frank does that. :(

I actually re-saw it yesterday with my sister (she'd just finished reading the trilogy). Tuesday night and the theater was packed. Her one issue was she'd pictured Peeta taller. ;D

(I've recently read that if Hunger Games keeps doing as well as it has it'll be the first big blockbuster with a female protagonist. It'd be so cool if it started a trend. *g*)
