Foal pics

Hey everyone!

Here's a couple of pics of the foal I've been lucky enough to be able to buy - he is 4 months old here and obviously still with Mum. They were taken at the foal evaluation championships in the dressage class, which is what I want him for eventually. VERY cute. I'm not at all familiar with his bloodlines, so I can't comment on that (although his sire is lovely and it look like your boy got his rich color!). He looks to have a very nice neck set, but appears to be a bit long in the back-super cute face. I think white in the face makes all the difference!

As for foal handling tips, by the time my guys are yearlings, I expect them to walk/trot in hand, stand for the farrier and vet, be ok with grooming, get used to trailering, get used to blanketing (although I don't usually blanket my foals) and get introduced to weird situations (umbrellas, tarps, whatever I can think of) And that's pretty much the whole story :)
