Juliana Theory was one of my votes too. I was so mad when they broke up, because it didn't seem to be for the 'right reasons'.

Ugh, I agree. Oh, labels are so mean! And we'd have to get real jobs to keep doing this! I mean, it sucks, but what about the fans and love of the music?

I hope one day they'll all perform together again. That I'd travel for.

I wrote them a pretty blunt letter about it on MySpace, back in the day, when it happened. TBrett wrote me back two years later, who knows if it is the same email that was sent to all people (it most likely was), but it's pretty random to get an email 2 years later. My whole thing was, aren't they in it for the music and fans, not the money? And to be so bitter against Mae, who is an equally talented band (well to me) to be so bitter that they got some luck. Record labels are assholes, I don't know why they thought they weren't. What's their 'new' band like?

Ha, good for you! That is really random. I feel like they try to connect to their fans, but it's a bit late now. Exactly! Most of the bans I know have to come home and work real jobs between tours and recording. And claiming they paved the way for all these new T&N bands... just, ugh. Kind of ruined my image of them, though I still love their music.

The new band is decent, I can see myself listening to it. To me, they sound a lot like TJT, but the vocals aren't as good - and they're not really hooking me, it's just kind of like, oh, I find that acceptable.

Look! I've finally got my own internet!
Also "fudge icing on a chocolate chip brownie sundae" sounds a lot like overload to me. I guess that's why I'm not into metal music :-P
