Warren pouted ever so slightly when she pulled away, though he didn't complain. He did pull the blanket carefully back over them once he gained his breath back.

"Wish I had done that sooner." He smiled in the dim light at her, his thumb tracing her lips lightly.

She felt her bottom lip pop open slightly at the weight of his thumb resting there. She dragged her fingers down his chest gently. Her eyes staying intently on his, the dim light causing her eyes to sparkle slightly.

"How would you have done it?"

"One thing, I would have made sure it wasn't because we were hurt." He leaned in his lips barely brushing her's. "Though this, I am not going to complain." He whispered against her lips kissing her again, half expecting to wake up and it just be a dream, hoping that that part of him would shut up.

"Betsy, you'll be here in the morning right?" His voice almost begged, he didn't want to be alone.

His thoughts were so loud in her head. All his worries and concerns over this being a dream. She smiled against his lips and gently nipped his bottom lip.

"Like I said, Warren, I'm not leaving your side until you are fully recovered. And then...when you are better, we'll see if you still want me here." She walked her fingers up his chest slowly until they rested just below his chin.

"...so the short answer would have been, yes I'll be here in the morning. And Warren...this is definitely not just a dream."

"I should really stop doing that shouldn't I?" He noticed she had commented on his thoughts. Warren really didn't mind she was there, it felt different than Jean or the Professor, more natural, but he hoped he kept that thought to himself. As well if wondering if Scott felt that way about Jean being in his head all the time.

I want you here, as long as you want to be here Betsy." He whispered. He knew in the morning he'd still be grounded, but he'd be fine enough to move more.
