Jose is dead. My wonderful black '93 Mercury Sable has finally bit the dust. He fought valiantly for a little less than a year after the flood, undergoing maintenance for brake problems and an antifreeze leak, but just this past friday he finally blew a gasket and gave up. I shall miss him. What I miss more though is the freedom that a car entails
