Dang. If I'd had any idea, I could have given you mine. I know I donated a bunch to Good Will a few years back after I got out, and I don't think I have any more. My recommendation would be to find someone living near a military town and see if they can't find some. BDUs are a dime a dozen if you can find them used, and you know where to look. :)

Seems like there are some Transfans around the DC area. That's a prime spot, so maybe you could ask someone from around DC? Sorry I'm not any more help. :(

Hah.. yeah, he did suggest looking at GoodWill and the Salvation Army too. After I had been going to the more expensive army navy surplus. Online is dicey.. hard to tell what is real and what wasn't there... I ordered something that wasn't. :p

And the irony... I wonder why he doesn't know anyone near the US military base there near Seoul? After I figure in the cost of shipping overseas, how is it cheaper for me to get them that it would be for him. *tsk*

What size does he wear? I have a pair of digital camo pants that I can't fit in that I'd be glad to pass along to you for him. They're XLs, so as long as he's not a cow like me, they should fit him. And, yeah, they're soldier used.

Oh, thank you for the offer. :D I think.. those might be too big though. He was seeking a size 32 waist, with 32 length. I think that was M or L for the sizing they have on those. But I can ask if they _might_ work.

if he's willing to give them a shot, just e-mail me an address to ship them to: ravynfyre at earthlink dot net.

*laugh* He said if you're just giving them away, he'll take them anyway. If he couldn't fit them, he'll give them to his brother or friend then. Thank you very much for your generousity! :D

My husband likes to buy pants from an online military store, I found something that seem to fit your description, in case nothing else seems to work out. http://shop.vtarmynavy.com/shared/StoreFront/default.asp?CS=armynavy&StoreType=BtoC&Count1=584758937&Count2=501899361&Keyword=bdu+pants&Target=products.asp

Thanks for the tip... is there a way I can tell if it is authentic military? Guess I can call them.

Er, yeah, I have no idea. I thought maybe you could compare the picture to a pair of authentic pants. Possible moot point, though. I ran another search on those style pants and found a review stating, "not as sturdy as the real thing and doesn't include all the same pockets," so....maybe they're not authentic...? :\

Hah.. yes, can forget searching out the reviews too.
