Who knew a vent valve for my Freestar's gas filler would cost $300 to replace. But it was either that or fight the filler hose's shutting off about every gallon or two during fueling - and getting worse. That's still less than one car payment on a new car, though

And after spending all that money, the check-engine light came on yesterday. I'm off to the dealer's again to have it checked out. I hope they're not expecting to get more money out of me.
