Grandkids

While I have no grandchildren of my own, my gf frequently has her 8.5 yo granddaughter stay with us. She's very smart, but headstrong and hard to deal with. This week we also had the 10 yo daughter of her uncle's gf, a very polite, well-behaved girl. It's actually easier having both visit than dealing with the 8 yo

I find that Scotland and Ireland are usually easier to deal with in a unit as opposed to separately. Not always, but usually. They keep each other entertained.

She got along great with the quasi-step cousin. They did keep each other entertained. But we had the real cousins in the back seat this evening and finally we had to move one to the front while Grandma sat in the middle in the back. They don't understand "keep your hands to yourself.'
