Anyway . . . weird temping. Maybe you are normally a really cold person?
So Atkins really works? Maybe if I actually liked any food that wasn't totally laden with carbs, I would give it a try some day. Though I think my problem is not so much over-eating as it is under-excercising. (Though chasing the kitten around for the past two weeks has certainly given me more of a workout than I've had in ages!)
Mom has been bugging me for the past year to go do that mall walking bit in the mornings. Never did get around to it. Should probably do at least a bit of walking while pg so I don't become some huge, flabby blob by February. (Or, at least, more of one than I am now.)
I feel feverish at 98.6, so I guess I am a cold person. I'm also awake quite a bit at 1-2 am, listening for the baby, so I hope those temps are accurate. I just don't often sleep 4 hours at a stretch.
Yep, Atkin's works, if you don't cheat. But if you only have to lose less than 20 lbs, I don't think it would be a permenent fix. You'd lose the wt so fast, you wouldn't have time to adapt to better eating habits. I have a friend who lost 70 lbs, but gained 50 back because her whole family still eats a bunch of potatos, bread, tortilla, etc. I think I've kept it off because I now will eat only whole wheat bread, and don't regularly buy chips, pasta, and potatos. Eat more meat and veggies.
Get to walking. Now. And do your kegeal's. And Cat-Camel back stretches.
