((Fallout from this. ~TEEN ISSUES AHOY~))

[Someone has just returned to her cabin and slammed the door, flopping dramatically on her bed for a "Zuko-is-a-huge-d-bag" cry]

[Manages to get up after one or two false starts and gets settled, making sure her feet are in the stirrups properly. Tells him to walk on. She's generally more tense, which may or may not be reflecting in Chamber]

Good, but relax some. Chamber can sense it and it makes him nervous.

[Stops Chamber and takes a few deep breaths, trying to relax. It's probably fairly effective right now. Starts walking him again]

Much better. Thee can probably feel the difference when he moves.

Yeah, it's a little smoother and not as quick.

When you are calm, he is calm; remember that. Now practice reining and using your legs to guide him in turns.

[Starting him on a figure eight like I'm sure they've practice, doing fairly well, but a little long in the rein and her legs are a bit too forward, so he's not making the turns as tightly as he should]

Shorten up the rein a bit. And your legs are forward.

[Frowning a bit and concentrating on fixing those points, but the focus is helping her forget not to be tense]

[waiting and seeing if she can correct that on her own]

[It escalates a bit, but when she realizes that he's quickening too much she takes a moment to recenter herself]

[pleased] Well done.

Thanks. I'm feeling better now that I have to force myself to stay calm.

Riding helps with thinking and calming down, so it does. 'Twas the reason I suggested it. When I need to think I oft times go for a ride.

It's kind of nice... making sure you're relaxed for the sake of another being. If I were just doing it for myself, I'm not sure I could, but it's easier to be calm for the sake of others.
