She looked at me with some-what of an evil eye when I told her.

Turning down a job that pays 37.5% more than what my current job is can be hard...

1) Its would be working in the Communications Dept. at the PUD which means a lot of writing and not so much photography and graphic design as they led me to believe before.

2) I would have to quit at the ESD.

3) Once school starts they would require me to go to school full time AND cap my hours to a maximum of 70 a month.

4) After I wrote this entry and went back to work, I was informed that I was getting a raise, and yes, they knew that I was missing work so I could go to a job interview at the PUD. They also knew what my starting wage would be and they are coming about 20 cents an hour short of matching that.

I guess doing things the hard way could actually turn out easier.

Oh, and you ask how the interview went? They looked at the yearbook I brought in and as soon as I started talking about Photoshop one of the ladies took out a pen and paper and started taking notes. They really wanted me. But maybe they will offer me something even better, but I doubt that after all the crap that went on at the PUD a few years ago.
