Citrusy Stein/Medusa one-shot fun!
Snake mating behaviour + S&M dynamics = silliness, it seems. Oh, and playing with Stein's perceptions of himself. (I operate by the rule that anything not shown-flashbacks and memories aside-can be taken as unreliable, intentionally or unintentionally. Ever gaslit somebody?)
Pounce

It had all started the day he'd started teaching at Shibusen, or rather that evening. He'd never really believed the school nurse's story about having had her car die and not being able to get a taxi out to her home. He'd not cared, either: she was a lovely specimen, even before he started to suspect she was a witch, and it was so rare for one to cooperate or even come willingly into his lair…
He'd not really thought too much into the fact that the end result was a rather different (though amazingly satisfying) exploration of her anatomy than he'd originally planned. He had actually rather liked finding somebody who shared his interest in anatomy-she was a nurse, it was part of her job-and, well, she certainly had enjoyed the surprise sex on his dissection table.
It was not, in his opinion, love. It couldn't be; he knew he didn't know what that was. It was simply scratching an itch, and only a novel (for him) way of doing it.
Besides, it didn't seem too strange that a meek-and-mild nurse might be so enthusiastic in bed, and his turtleneck covered the bite marks. The marks he'd left on her were covered by her clothes; he'd kept that in mind, not seeing any reason to be in trouble for finding a different-from-usual way to sate his desires.
He had been surprised when she'd paid him back in kind, but…it was a new game, and it was so very, very interesting.
But it couldn't possibly have been love.
Later…it was simply missing the game, and not knowing anybody who'd play it with him-and, well, it was very annoying to have her haunting him.
It wasn't as satisfying when only she could score points in their game.
But…he was certain that it was not love.
