So, all you people aren't actually slightly stuffy-nosed from March till November? Why didn't someone tell me this earlier? I would have started allergy treatments a long time ago.

In other news, I have something in the back of my throat. I hope its not strep.

And in work related news, I hate vista/xp incompatibility.

I got allergy shots for about 5 years. I used to get bronchitis and sinus infections about 4-5 times per year, but after the shots (and so far now) I don't have them if hardly at all. (I can't remember the last sinus infection that wasn't a cold actually).

I've never been treated for a sinus infection or ear infection. *knock on wood*

Started the drops a little while ago. Hoping it works for me.

I've been stuffy nosed since February, but unless you are also pregnant, I don't think it applies in your situation.

Its the conclusion I've come to based on my allergy testing. I'm allergic to pretty much everything they tested me for. So my thought is that since my allergies aren't that bad most of the time, my normal state of slightly stuffed up is actually caused by my allergies. I could be way off base, but several other people have confirmed it with me.

I'm actually being facetious -- I got allergy tested too, and I'm allergic to everything but food and mold. :)

I had the normal state you described for most of my childhood until I finished my allergy shots. It is probably the best thing I've ever done. I can pick up cats now and not have ashama attacks. I can go outside for hours/days on end and not be winded.

Go get set up for allergy shots! I don't think you'll regret it.

I do all the time. I blame the fact that Knoxville air quality is poor to terrible everyday.

My allergies got better when I moved to Knox-vegas. The poor air-quality is made up of burned diessel fuel and carbon crap that I'm NOT allergic to and kills the pollen and mold I am allergic to!
