I get a dedication? ^/////^ Cpaciba! I'm just glad I was able to help contribute to such a good piece of writing.

Ivan and Alfred's cat fights never get old to me. They're so similar it's amusing. Both just big children with a lot of power. But tzars, Alfred, you /really/ had to say cannon fodder didn't you? But such were the times. I'm so glad to know that now we're far more friendlier than we once were. :)

Really? It seems to me that the dialogue of Alfred and Ivan corresponds to contemporary politics exactly. On all counts. And spheres of influence and the role of Soviet troops in the victory in World War II. Soviet soldiers are only "good cannon fodder", the occupiers and the army of rapists, but never heroes and liberators. Alfred - the outspoken child - only voiced this truth, which could be seen in 99% of APH-fanworks about the USSR in WWII.

Ah. I'm sorry then. I was only going on experience of what I've had, as in conversations I've heard from others and from movies and what not. I'll try harder though.

Thanks for your review! :3

The Russians I know would not agree with those points. They very well saw themselves as heros, protecting their country from the Nazis who sought to invade them, and I can't help but view them as such as well. True, they weren't perfect, but no one was. It was war and war is hell.

Wow. Just wow. Great chapter. The postwar tensions were all there yet you still kept them in character. I especially liked your characterization of America.

I'm looking forward to next week's installment!
